MetroCascade now has RSS

Posted by: metrocascade on: March 26, 2009

You can now subscribe to MetroCascade‘s main page with RSS, with whatever feed reader you use for your other online sites! (Yay!)

As we continue to refine the site, we’ll eventually add a separate RSS feed for our events (the “Do”) cascade (the calendar on the right side), which should add value for users who want to keep abreast of happenings in the city.

But before that happens, there’s still plenty of work left to do to build the functionality of the “Do” cascade, and also to refine categorization on the “Read” cascade.

Stay tuned – and give us feedback!

Is it just me, or is the main page RSS link no where to be found? I don’t see it…

Hi Graham,

We have not specifically put a link or symbol for the RSS feed on the main page. Eventually we might want to have separate feeds on the main page.

You subscribe by clicking on the RSS symbol in your browser. On Firefox it will be in the address bar, on Internet Explorer below the address bar. In Safari click on the RSS in the adddress bar.

Just in case: the url for our reader is

http://metrocascade.com/main/rss

Hope this helps,

Werner and the MetroCascade team
